The Final Job Day

All you could hear was the rain hitting the window. I turned on the T.V and the words that came out of the speakers disgusted me. The news was on so you would expect a story of people getting saved by the police or the fire department. No, there was a interview going on, the person on the interview was a lady, let's call this lady Cary. Cary was talking about how she was assaulted and was left with a bruise on her neck. Now some of you might be surprised when I told you I was mad at Cary.

Cary was the assistant of a semi-famous person, let's call him Cory. Cary was supposedly hurt at a restaurant by another person, let's call him Omar. Cary decided to get the police involved which was a huge mistake. The police had checked the camera footage from that night and found no evidence that Omar had assaulted Cary. That is not all, that night there was one person with Omar that night that could confirm that Omar didn't do anything. This person shall be called Max. Max had the police interview him. When he was interviewed Max told the police that he did see Cary and Cory at the restaurant when he was there. I forgot to mention that Cary told the police that Omar was drunk the day that she was assaulted. MAx had told the police that Omar didn't drink one drop of alcohol that night. It was true when the police checked the security footage they noticed that Omar had not drank any liquor. I think it is important to say that Max worked with Cary and Cory. Apparently Cory told Max to not say anything about the night or he would get fired. Max agreed with his terms but as we know he did tell the authorities what had happened. I still don't know what disgusted me the most, the fact that they told Max to stay quiet, or that they lied about an assault.
