I Never Saw Another Butterfly

The Jews were treated like animals by the Nazis. There was nothing that they could do, they could work and die. But they could also remember their old memories and all the love their shared with their family’s at home. To some they felt like all that time was wasted and there was no point in living anymore. But others stood strong and waited for their rescue. Although the Halocaust was a terrible moment in history, it showed us that many could still be strong.

Only One District Can Remain

The Hunger Games is a book for young adults, it was written by Suzanne Collins. This book is about a girl named Katniss that had been picked to participate in a contest called The Hunger Games. During these games there are people from all 13 districts. These people are in an arena that has two people in each district.

My favorite part of this book was when  Haymitch is training Katniss and Petta. This part shows their work on how they will survive. Petta asked Haymitch if he could train him separately. If I had to rate this book I would give it a 9/10. It’s a really exciting book to read and worth the time.

So I suggest that you read this book so you can reveal the story of The Hunger Games.

Flipped Book Blog 1 Quarter 3

Flipped is a book for young adults, it was written by Wendelin Van Deaanen. This book is about the perspective of two kids, Bryce and Julianna. The genre of the book is realistic fiction. When one persons perspective is told, the other persons perspective starts.

Bryce had just moved into this neighborhood as a kid, while he was watching his dad unpack, a girl named Julianna came by and wanted to help them. Bryce was annoyed by Julianna so he decided to avoid her. When he went in his house Julianna grabed his hand and told herself that she loved that boy. Over the years this was a cycle that repeated itself over and over again. Julianna went with Bryce to school so he couldn’t avoid her anywhere. Now Bryce is trying to find out a way to get Julianna out of his life. But then something terrible happens.

One of my favorite parts is when Julianna stayed on the top of a tree so they wouldn’t cut it down. This tree was an amazing place for her to be at and when she herd it was going to be cut down she was very mad and sad. She stayed at the top until her dad came to pick her up and then they cut it down.

This story is very interesting and entertaining so I recommend reading it. It will not be a waste of time.

Slice of Life

This Monday I had gone through the worst experience of my life. Once I got home I fell asleep and got the worst headache and stomachache ever. I felt like I was going to puke.

Accomplishment

My one word for 2018 is ACCOMPLISHMENT. I chose the word Accomplishment because I believe that last year I didn’t accomplish many things, so this year I will accomplish a lot more things then I did last year. This word will will change my life because it would mean that I have to try things and I have to accomplish these things that i have probably never tried before. Some of the steps that I will do so that I can accomplish things is to try hard, even when the task is hard I will still try very hard and not give up. This is my goal for 2018 and I hope to accomplish that.
