The Most Amazing Day In My Life

Ahh the Perfect Day, this day will be a magical day where school is cancelled and the stores have a 99% off sale. This day will consist of free food, and GameStop games will be free for everyone. There will be a huge party room with every 8th grader will be in. While the Sponge Bob Best Day Ever Song is blasting out of every speaker in the town. Then the next day everything that was destroyed would be fixed. After that no one would remember what happened besides me. That would be the most amazing day of my life.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid The Long Haul

Diary of a Wimpy Kid The Long Haul was a comedy book meant for people of all ages. This book was written by Jeff Kinney as a fictional story. This book is about the story of Greg Heffey’s family going on a road trip that goes wrong. At first you think it is going to be a normal family trip but the story makes sure to leave you surprised.

In the story, Greg and his family go on a road trip and try to have fun but it ends up being a terrible trip. Most of the time when they try to go to one place they end up in another and if they do make it to that location something bad happens and messes up their trip.

One of my favorite parts was when Greg’s brother Rodrick had lost his shoe so he couldn’t go in a restaurant. This was my favorite part because when they told him he couldn’t go in the restaurant Greg had to give Rodrick one of his shoes and wait outside of the restaurant until Rodrick finished eating. Except Rodrick was eating really slow and was taking forever to finish eating, leaving Greg outside.

This book is very funny and if you want to find out the rest of the story you have to read it by yourself.

All American Boys

All American Boys is a story about a teenage boy named Rashad that was beaten by a police officer because Rashad had accidently tripped on a white lady. The police officer assumed that Rashad had done this on purpose because Rashad was black. While Rashad did try to explain that it was an accident the police officer wouldn’t listen to him. The officer took Rashad outside and started to beat him while he was handcuffed. This novel not only talks about racism but also about police brutality and other issues. This book is manly for young adults and is a very interesting topic to talk about with a person that is very passionate about fixing many issues in society. I don’t want to spoil the book so if you want to know the rest of the story you must read it for yourself.

My Book to Movie Comparison

The Outsiders
The Outsiders novel and movie are both very interesting versions of the story. These two versions have many differences. One of these differences is that near the
beginning of the book Dally has smacked Ponyboy really hard, in the movie Dally pushed Ponyboy to a table. Another difference is that in the book when Darry died Pony fell on the floor and got sick, in the movie they didn’t show that part or Ponyboy never got sick in the movie. The next difference is that when Johnny, Darry, and Ponyboy were in the hospital and Soda and Dally came, in the book Pony gave Soda a hug and hesitated to give Dally one, in the movie Pony gave Dally and Soda a hug without hesitation. The final reason that they are different is because when Johnny died and Dally ran off, in the book Dally stole from a store, in the movie Dally broke a book and pulled a gun on the cashier. This is why the book and the movie are different.

There are also many similarities between the movie and book. One similarity that both versions have is when Dally started to annoy Cherry and Johnny tells Dally to stop. Another similarity that they both have is when Johnny tells Dally he will turn himself into the police when he returns. The next next similarity was when Johnny and Ponyboy were in the church and Pony started saying the poem Nothing Gold Can Stay. This is why the novel and the movie are similar.

The actors did a good job giving the message from the book in the movie. In some of the scenes they had bad acting but overall they did an okay job with giving us the message on some of the very important scenes. Another reason they did a good job was when certain characters died they showed the person's emotions and their actions. The next reason they did a good job was when an important scene was going on, the actors did a good job showing the characters feelings and how they were in the book. This is why the actors did a good job giving us the message of the book.

We Real Cool

In my second text We Real Cool by Gwendolyn Brooks it connected to The Outsiders because both text talk about similar things like leaving school, death and many other topics. One topic that relates to The Outsiders was the quote “We die soon”, this topic is difficult to understand because to die means many things. But “We die soon” probably means that they were jumped one day and killed. This connects to The Outsiders because one the one part in the book when Ponyboy almost died because a Soc drowned him so Johnny had to kill him. Another quote that makes these similar is “We strike straight”, this quote is saying that their in a gang so they won’t be scared to attack a person or possibly kill them. This connects to The Outsiders because the Greasers are like a gang and they are not afraid to get in a fight and hurt the other person. These quotes prove that We Real Cool and The Outsiders are similar. In my opinion I think that these are good reasons and there were many more quotes like “We left school” and “We lurk late”. These quotes also connect to The Outsiders and also talk about things that were important in The Outsiders.

Cut

Cut was an interesting book that doenst really have a deep story to it. So if you like books that are just about one topic and not an adventure or mystery, this book is for you. In some areas of the book its sad to think about the life that the main character has. Her brother has a serious case of asthma so he cant brethe in any sort of dust or pollen, so he cant be outside. Many topics discussed can be serious but at most times the book is talking about her life. When I started reading the book right off the bat it starts with the main character cutting herself. I don’t want to spoil too much so if you are interested

We Can Start All Over

This is a quote that I heard about 3 years ago and I could never forget this quote. I herd this quote in a show that I use to watch. In the show reincarnation was real but only one man in the world knew this and no one would believe him. This man met an assassin and the man had to kill this assassin because he was going to kill his family. This quote can connect to me and my life because of some of the people that I have met in the past. Some of these people had many problems that I was trying to help them with but at some point they started to ignore me and asked for me to never talk to them again. This quote can be relatable to many people and could help a lot in some situations.

My Identity

Everyone has an identity, they all has similarities and differences. Who I am and what I am like is my identity. My identity is not the way others see me, it is the way I act, the way I do things and why I do these things is my identity. I am Mexican I may not look Mexican but I am Mexican. Some people think that I am white because my skin isn't really the same color that many other Mexicans have their skin. Both my parents are Mexican and my whole family is Mexican. I am also catholic, my names is based apron the son of god. My parents gave me this name because they wanted me to act like Jesus. They wanted me to be a kind person that respected everyone and didn't care if they were another skin tone or believed in another religion. My parents wanted me to be like this and I am like this, I don't judge a person by their skin tone or their beliefs, I respect everyone even if they don't like me.

Right now I only have two important roles in my life. My first role is to be a brother, I have one older sister and one younger brother. I am the middle child child, my sister is 15 and my brother is 7. Me and my sibling do talk a lot to each other and when we don't we normally are just arguing about some random thing that we got mad at each other for. I am currently at the age of 13 when I am wrting this. Even though me and my sibling do fight a lot, we still love each other and will do anything to help each other out. I think that most sibling are or were like this at a point in their lives. My other very important role in life it to be a son. My mom is a very kind person and hates to see another person be in pain. My dad is a very hard working man and will do anything to help a person who needs help. Now both or my parents are divorced and me and my siblings live with by mom and visit my dad every second weekend. So if we see him on a weekend we wont see him until another two weeks. My step dad is a very nice guy and maintains my family very well.

My Identity will be different to yours, everyone has a different identity and that’s what makes a person special.

How I See Myself In 10 Years

10 years from now I see myself getting my masters degree at Chapman University in California. I will have a job and save up enough money to get a better home in a nice, clean, and quiet neighborhood in Santa Monica, California. In a couple of years I will apply for a job at Treyarch Studios as a game designer. I will work for about 10 to 15 years and try to find the person that is right for me and marry them. I do not plan in having any children unless my wife wants to have some. If I do have a child I will call him or her Jessie because I expect myself to not think of a name for a child. Also because my family call me Jessie instead of my name Jesus. This is how I see myself in 10 years.

The Final Job Day

All you could hear was the rain hitting the window. I turned on the T.V and the words that came out of the speakers disgusted me. The news was on so you would expect a story of people getting saved by the police or the fire department. No, there was a interview going on, the person on the interview was a lady, let's call this lady Cary. Cary was talking about how she was assaulted and was left with a bruise on her neck. Now some of you might be surprised when I told you I was mad at Cary.

Cary was the assistant of a semi-famous person, let's call him Cory. Cary was supposedly hurt at a restaurant by another person, let's call him Omar. Cary decided to get the police involved which was a huge mistake. The police had checked the camera footage from that night and found no evidence that Omar had assaulted Cary. That is not all, that night there was one person with Omar that night that could confirm that Omar didn't do anything. This person shall be called Max. Max had the police interview him. When he was interviewed Max told the police that he did see Cary and Cory at the restaurant when he was there. I forgot to mention that Cary told the police that Omar was drunk the day that she was assaulted. MAx had told the police that Omar didn't drink one drop of alcohol that night. It was true when the police checked the security footage they noticed that Omar had not drank any liquor. I think it is important to say that Max worked with Cary and Cory. Apparently Cory told Max to not say anything about the night or he would get fired. Max agreed with his terms but as we know he did tell the authorities what had happened. I still don't know what disgusted me the most, the fact that they told Max to stay quiet, or that they lied about an assault.
